Bernadette writes using the pen name of Erin Green and writes contemporary romance and romcoms drawing together a healthy mixture of love and relationships amidst the realities of life.
Bernadette focuses on creating realistic characters who can welcome a reader into their world for a short time, whether it be for entertainment or escapism from their daily routine. She tends to draw on her local surroundings for inspiration and use experiences which she’s observed, encountered or feels passionately about as themes within her books. Her philosophy in life is to ‘live, love and laugh’ – all three elements are contained in her novels. Bernadette's imagination never switches off, resulting in a variety of ideas occurring from a snippet of conversation, a stranger’s expression or a piece of art work. Bernadette was awarded the ‘Katie Fforde Bursary’ in 2017 and ‘New Talent Award’ in 2015 by Love Stories award. Bernadette was raised in the village of Polesworth and now, live in Atherstone, Warwickshire. When she is not writing, she spends time reading, sketching and walking amongst beautiful countryside. |
